Community Christian Academy (CCA) is a K-12 Christian school and was established in 1995 with its mission statement expressed in the principle of Proverbs 22:6, "Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray."
This like-minded, Christ centered community, aims to function as an extension of the family home and Church. The school logo features a verse from Joshua 24:15 that clearly expresses our desire to partner with parents in the Christian education of their children. The goal is to nurture and model relationship with Christ and to impart biblical standards to children as they reach their full academic potential. To these ends spirit-filled staff members lovingly minister to students through the fruit (Galatians 5:22-23) and giftings (1 Corinthians 12:8-11) of the Spirit.
In September 2008, Community Christian Academy featured as on one 3 different Australian Christian schools in a Compass (ABC) episode. It is published here to help you catch a vision for why Christian Education is so vital for Tasmania.
